The Division of Biological Sciences consists of four groups: zoology, botany, biophysics, primatology and wildlife research, and each group cooperates to provide higher-level specialized education in biological science. The Division of Biological Sciences is engaged in research in a wide range of biological science fields, from research at the molecular cell level to research on biological populations. The primary goal of this division is to train researchers engaged in advanced basic biological science research, and also to contribute to the development of researchers engaged in applied research related to biological science, educators engaged in biological education at companies, and human resources such as science journalists.
