Research

Our research focuses on the cellular and molecular evolution of primates, including humans. Recent advances in cellular and molecular techniques, like iPS cells, genome editing, and next generation sequencing, allow us to reveal various mechanisms of interest in primate evolution. Each faculty member has specific topics, including sensory receptors, host-parasite evolution, stem cells, and genomic evolution. Students can join these projects as well as conduct their own projects based on their original ideas.

See the CICASP website for information regarding entrance examination procedures for international students.
